How information is used
We use information to provide accounts and features, analyze user-submitted documents, deliver decision support, protect against security threats and abuse, provide customer support, meet legal obligations, and improve service reliability and usefulness.
No intentional PHI
These products are not designed for protected health information (PHI). Do not submit patient names, medical records, dates of birth, diagnoses, record numbers, or other patient information.
Payments and service providers
Live paid checkout is not currently enabled, so the healthcare products do not currently collect live payment-card data or live paid-transaction metadata. Service providers may support hosting, authentication, analytics and security, email, and support. If paid memberships are introduced later, the applicable payment-provider role and related data practices will be disclosed before live checkout is enabled.
Advertising and sale posture
The products are not designed to sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Certain laws define these terms differently; where applicable, we will honor rights required by law.
Retention
Direct Path consent or withdrawal records, material terms-acceptance records, and healthcare privacy or deletion audit evidence may be retained for up to seven years after the relevant withdrawal, termination, closure, or other triggering event where reasonably necessary for legal, security, audit, or dispute purposes.
Routine security, access, application, and anti-abuse logs are generally retained no longer than 24 months where operationally supported. Records connected to a material security or privacy incident, dispute, investigation, audit requirement, or legal hold may be preserved longer where reasonably necessary or required by law. Other account and content data is kept only as reasonably necessary for service, security, disputes, legal duties, or legitimate business purposes, then deleted or de-identified where practicable.
Your choices and rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a portable copy of information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Rights vary by location and may be subject to verification and lawful exceptions.
Security and children
We use administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the product, but no system can guarantee absolute security. These professional products are not directed to children under 18.
